Dr. S. R. Ranganathan Birth anniversary 2021
Library department has organized one day state level webinar on the topic “ Wachanane Samrudha Hote Mati, Mile Jivanas Gati” means reading books make a perfect man who lead towards the ultimate good of life. This Programme was organized on 12th August 2021 in the memory of Dr. S.R. Ranganathan- Father of Indian Library movement. Chef guest was Dr. Nagorao Kumbhar who gave speech on the above topic and suggested to organise this type of programmes continuously. 472 Teachers and students were registered for this programme out of these 297 were participated in the programme.

Reading Inspiration Day (Wachan Prerana Din)
It is our routine practice to celebrate the birth anniversary of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul kalam, on this day we encourage the students and visitors to read more and more books. We invite eminent speakers in the field of education who inspires students to read books written on different issues and famous personalities who changed the world with their work and thoughts. As a result of these type of programmes readers were increased and started reading books which helped them in shaping their personality and thought process.
Dr. Shivaji kamble, Librarian – Kishan Veer College, wai (Satara), one more guest was invited as a inaugurator he was prof. Nagraj C. Devatkal, Librarian Shamndeshwar College of Arts, Kalburgi, Total Students/Professor/Principal registered for this programme were 976 actually attended students were 597.

The ambitious event: “Only One obsession – 18 Hours Study” (Ekach Dhyas, 18 Tas Abhyas) Inauguration by Hon. Principal Dr. Shriram Solanke on 13/04/2022. This Event was organized with the view to raise the stamina of students to study for long hours. On the day students starts studying in the library reading room at 5:00 AM and ends at 11:00 PM. Students read novels, biography, autobiography and other general study material. Total 110 students participated in this event. The college provides tea, breakfast in the morning, lunch in the afternoon and fruits in the evening.
